Regulation (EU) 2023/1115
The EUDR establishes harmonised rules aimed at preventing certain products placed on the European Union market from being associated with deforestation or forest degradation.
Objective
Ensure that the relevant products are deforestation-free, produced in accordance with the applicable laws of the country of production and covered by a due diligence statement.
Products covered
Timber, cocoa, coffee, rubber, soy, palm oil, cattle and certain derived products.
Who does it apply to?
Operators and traders who place these products on the European Union market, export them from the Union or trade them within the supply chain.
