Agroforest Monitoring Agency was founded by a timber professional with direct experience of tropical supply chains, from forest operations through to exports to European and North American markets.
After spending many years in Peru’s timber sector, its founder also supported South American companies in their development, notably through government advisory assignments related to export promotion.
This experience enables Agroforest to understand the operational realities of the sector, its constraints, sensitive points and the risks that may arise between documentation, field operations and export.
Agroforest also works with qualified field specialists: forestry experts and engineers, documentary verification specialists, and professionals who have worked with or within Peruvian public institutions (OSINFOR, SERFOR, MINAM) and private-sector organisations (FSC).
Some specialists have up to 25 years of experience in forest management, field verification, documentary compliance and responsible forest management standards.
This combination of commercial experience, field knowledge and technical expertise enables Agroforest to provide independent, contextualised and useful verification for importers.
