Evaluate an operation

A simple start

Start with what you have. We organise the next steps.

A few details are enough to start the conversation. You do not have to identify the necessary documents or checks on your own.

The basic AMA audit and WoodPassport® are charged at a fixed fee, including volume consistency checks. WoodPassport® Origin is subject to an additional fixed fee, with a customisable page and one year’s hosting. A visit to the forest harvesting site is an option quoted separately.

For several containers from exactly the same lot and origin, an appropriate additional charge may apply when checks can be reused. Timeframes depend on the documents available, the checks and any further information required.

01

Present the operation

The parties, origin and characteristics already known.

02

Add your documents

The documents available, even if the dossier is still incomplete.

03

AMA takes over

An initial review to identify what needs to be completed.

Your starting point

Let's discuss your operation.

Provide the information you already know. Fields marked with an * are required to get started.

01 The operation

Legal name of the importing company.

Country of origin of the timber, distinct from the country of export.

If known.

Trade or scientific name, if known. Several species may be listed.

Document uploads are temporarily unavailable. You can submit your enquiry without attachments. AMA will contact you about the documents required.

03 Your contact details

Please describe any particular features of the operation or important questions here.

Further options

The information submitted is used by AGROFOREST MONITORING AGENCY S.A.C. to assess your enquiry and, at your request, prepare a possible service. Mandatory fields are necessary to handle it. The enquiry is recorded privately in Gravity Forms; an internal notification containing your reference is sent to contact@agroforest.agency, without an automatic email acknowledgement. Recipients are authorised AMA personnel, including in Peru, and its technical service providers within the scope of their duties.

Enquiries with no further follow-up are retained for 12 months after the last exchange, or after receipt if no exchange takes place. Prospects receiving commercial follow-up are retained for up to three years after the last contact initiated by the prospect. Client and contractual records are subject to separate retention rules.

To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, subject to the applicable conditions, email contact@agroforest.agency. Read the full privacy policy.

After your submission

An initial review. Then AMA coordinates the next steps.

Human-led, documented investigation. You are kept informed of progress.

01

AMA examines the information already available

We examine the documents received, identify the chain, the information already documented and what is needed to continue the investigation.

02

We identify precisely what needs to be completed

Rather than a generic list of documents, AMA determines the documents and information actually required for the operation concerned.

03 · The importer’s mandate

AMA takes over contact with your exporter.

After the initial review, AMA sends you a mandate to sign, enabling it to contact your exporter directly and coordinate collection of the information, documents and other material needed for the investigation.

AMA coordinates document collection, the supplier undertaking and preparation of the necessary checks with the exporter. This is an integral part of the procedure. You are kept informed of progress.

Investigation and checks

AMA verifies, corroborates and organises the information relating to the operation. Checks on production and processing sites form part of AMA’s normal verification arrangements, according to the verification cycle. They are distinct from the optional forest origin visit and do not necessarily all take place before the first dossier.

05

A structured AMA dossier

The evidence and information needed to complete the DDS are prepared for the importer. Validation and submission remain the operator’s responsibility.
